Joint Examination Office

On our pages you will find information about the examination matters within the bachelor and master programs of the Faculty of Arts.

You will receive general information on examination matters within the framework of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs through the Central information pages of the Examination Offices. There you can also look up specific keywords around your studies and examinations in a glossary.

The Joint Examination Office is responsible for all examinations for the bachelor's degree progammes as well as the master's degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

In addition, the Joint Examination Office supervises examinations for studies in secondary education (Profil Lehramt an Gymnasien), studies in business education (Profil Wirtschaftspädagogik), supplementary studies (Profil Fachergänzung) and for elective modules, which are part of study programs of other faculties, insofar as the courses are offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

The Joint Examination Office is not responsible:

  • For modules of other faculties which are completed in the elective areas of the subject or in the profiling areas. The examination office of the subject offering the modules is responsible for these.
  • For LSF and OLAT. If you have problems registering for courses via LSF / OLAT,  please contact the offering institute / seminar directly or the ZfS (Key Skills Centre). We do not have access to the participation administration, so we cannot help you.

Please note that the registration for the course via LSF / OLAT etc. does not lead to an automatic registration for the examination. This must be done additionally in the respective registration period!
